Why file size is the number one problem
The Saudi visa platform expects a small file — up to about 100 KB. A normal phone photo today is 3 to 8 MB, which is dozens of times larger than the limit. Even if the dimensions look right, the raw file weight alone will block the upload, and the platform rarely explains it with a clear message.
Square, not portrait
The platform wants an exact 200x200 pixel square. Phone photos come out rectangular (usually portrait), so even after you shrink the file the shape is still wrong. Cropping by hand on a phone rarely lands on a precise pixel-perfect square.
The background must be pure white
